Step 0: Introduction to golf £57.00 p.p. (1 lesson of 2.5 hours)
Interested in golf but have no idea where to start? Then ‘Step 0: Introduction to Golf’ is definitely for you! During the lesson, various aspects of the game of golf will be covered: putting, the swing and, of course, the necessary etiquette and safety rules. The lesson includes equipment and a course lesson to play a practice round. The professional will help you along the way for a few holes. There is space for a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 people per course.

Step 1: Start playing golf € 115.00 p.p. (4 lessons of 1.5 hours)
What is the aim of the course?
The course is an affordable and accessible way to see if you genuinely like golf. You will learn how to play golf safely by working on your golf technique. In addition, you will learn the etiquette on a golf course. You will do this under the supervision of a golf professional who will also take you out onto the course to gain practical experience. If you progress smoothly and make sufficient progress, the pro may decide to grant you course permission at the end of the course..However, this is not a certainty. Starting golf gives you the opportunity to further develop your skills on the A, B and F holes towards the next step, step 2: Towards your handicap.
The programme:

Lesson 4: Job Hunt
The course includes:
- The on-course lesson is supervised by the professional.
- Equipment; clubs and balls.
- 50% discount on a 10-journey ticket for the F Holes**

The next step is obtaining your handicap 54 (GVB). At the end of this step, you will be able to go out onto the course in accordance with the etiquette and rules of golf that are important for a golfer.

Step 2: On your way to your Handicap for only €220 (5 lessons of 2 hours)
What is the aim of the course?
You can play a round of golf independently within the time allowed and know how to behave safely on and around the golf course. To achieve handicap 54, you need to pass a theory exam (which is included). You also need to play a qualifying card starting from handicap 54; for this, you play a 9-hole round (after completing the course) with someone who already holds a handicap, and he/she will become your marker. You hand in the qualifying (score) card together with the theory exam at your home course, Golfclub Spaarnwoude. To receive your digital handicap card from the NGF, you need to become a member of a golf club. GC Spaarnwoude can help you with this.
The programme:
Lesson 1: Introduction to basic strokes
Lesson 2: Putting/chipping
Lesson 3: Pitch swing
Lesson 4: Swing
Lesson 5: Track lesson (1.5 hours) and theory exam (30 mins)
The course includes:
- 8 hours of practical lessons and 1x two-hour track lesson
- during the lesson, theory is covered for each part (practise here the driving theory test)
- 9-hole green fee for the baanles
Exclusive:
- Equipment; clubs for hire (half set €17) and balls for sale (20 for €14.50) at reception.
- Driving range balls (£1.60 = 18 balls)
- NGF registration as a B-golfer with Golfclub Spaarnwoude for € 94.50.
- Please note: After completing the course, you must independently play a qualifying card (using a marker) to complete the registration.
