First, choose a golf club or authority where you want to register your handicap. This can be our Golfclub Spaarnwoude are, but also a so-called virtual club without a course, such as GVN. After that you take lessons. At Spaarnwoude golf course you can via our Academy book lessons with one of our golf professionals or take part in a group course. Depending on the type of course or lesson, you can pass your rules exam within a short time.
From that moment on, you are allowed to play (practice) rounds independently on our par 3/4 course. We advise our A-course for achieving your handicap 54. When you average no more than three extra shots per hole above par, you demonstrate that you have mastered the playing standard of handicap 54. Then have the scorecard signed by your marker (a fellow player with at least course permission and a passed rules test) and hand it in to your (virtual) club. You can also enter your first scorecard digitally via the GOLF.NL app. Afterwards, you will receive your NGF pass with your current handicap.
